Job Description: Leading Financial Services Company seeks an Analyst Programmer to be based in our central London office. The role will involve working with the investment team and CTO to develop analytic and reporting tools to support the investment process. The tools will be used to study markets, portfolios and instruments and will use data from multiple sources including market data providers and internal systems. Duties include: -Developing investment analysis tools in VBA, Excel 2010 and C# .Net -Developing reporting tools to support the analytics in Excel, Reporting Software and SharePoint. -Maintaining data integrity within data warehouses used to support modelling -Integrating tools with existing in house systems and analytics -Responsibility for the whole development process from understanding and identifying the requirement to delivery. -Working in an Agile environment An experience of financial markets is desirable although on the job training will be provided. Candidates MUST have developing experience using:1.C# .Net 2.VBA 3.JavaScript 4.SQL 5.XML Family (XML / XSD / XPath) 6.Experience working within an Agile environmentDesirable are: *A solid understanding of mathematics and statistics*Experience using Market Data Sources such as Bloomberg and DataStream *Knowledge of SharePoint 2010 *Knowledge of SQL Reporting Services/ SSRS *Knowledge of Microsoft Integration Technologies This is an excellent opportunity to join a well respected and progressive organisation.
