MD, Mid-level And Associate Metals And Mining Equity Research Analysts Job Details

The Role:

At associate level:

The main responsibilities will include conducting detailed financial and market research, building financial models, identifying investment opportunities and marketing investment opportunities to institutional and high networth retail clients. The individual will also be expected to write sector and company based research, as well as present analysis and views on companies to clients.

At Mid-level and MD level:

At least 4 years experience of lead coverage of mining world leaders on the following metals: copper, gold, nickel, zinc and others. A technical background (mining engineering, geology, metallurgy) is desirable.

At least 4 years experience of lead coverage on european steel.

Candidate Profile:

- From 1 year to 10 years experience as an equity research analyst on metals and mining firms

- Accountants with 1-5 years experience focused on auditing mining companies

- Geologists with experience in mining firms/ senior analyst / investor relations experience in mining firms
