Solvency II Programme Director, London Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Business Change leadership of the Solvency II programme leading the work stream leads from a programme perspective including IT from a reporting and tracking perspective.
• Accountable for the project structure and the accountabilities of the roles within the programme and recruitment of project personnel (as required). Ensuring that the project/programme roles are populated with adequately and appropriately skilled resources.
• Production and maintenance of the overall business change plan, incorporating all business activities relating to Solvency II, including:
• Confirming and helping to implement the proposed new target operating model and management of the activities to achieve the new model (including creation of job profiles and recruitment where appropriate)
• Creation, updating and retirement of business processes. Ensure that the SII Business Change components are identified and embedded within the required parts of the organisation, liaising with other relevant programmes as required.
• Communications strategy, planning and execution
• Training strategy, planning and execution
• Production and maintenance of the Solvency II capability map for Solvency II
• Ensuring that the programme plan is aligned with the RBSI regulatory framework and other relevant change programmes
• Accountable for the PMO, including, but not limited to
• Ensuring effective change control processes documenting changes to the plans, the costs and the scope, and then operating the required governance processes to get these signed off;
• Ensuring that Business Change risks, issues and dependencies are effectively managed;
• Working collaboratively with other areas to identify areas of synergy to maximise the benefits from change;
• Managing the User Acceptance testing for the IT releases;
