Job Description: This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant difference to a very established but extremely progressive market leading Software House is requiring expanding its Technical Architecture Division to initially support the creation of a best in class product set. Creating capability for the business to be able to targeting enterprise customers, the initial key focus is to conduct a major technology refresh re-building robust architecture, unit testing, reviewing coding standards, to increase performance and capability. You will be integral in supporting this from a governance and demonstrate an excellent all-round understanding of a range of technologies and software engineering techniques/principles championing and delivering best practice design building re-usable software that is maintainable and future-proof.In summary you will..... Take a hands-on approach to architecting, designing and implementing software, using a range of technologies Make a significant contribution to company's overall technical strategy, to ensure that industry best practice is followed in software designs/standards Implement and evangelise the technical strategy Define and implement standardised processes across multiple product teams, encouraging and fostering collaboration and reuse Liaise with stakeholders at all levels in the business Lead by example on technical mattersWhere necessary, manage, coach and train individual developers (both onshore and offshore) You will ideally have a background where you have supported a similar environment.
