Job Description: Cosine UK Ltd, an award winning field marketing company, requires merchandisers to call on one of the major supermarket chains in this important festive period to re-stock the shelves and ensure promotional and shelf display compliance. You will also identify opportunities to build incremental displays where possible to get as much stock as possible onto shelf/additional fixtures.You will therefore need to `sell` to store staff the benefits of using any incremental space for displaying products and ensuring there is sufficient stock in-store to be able to build a display. You will quickly create excellent relationships with store colleagues and use these to ensure all product lines are in the most prominent locations and ensure that the product is fully stocked - this is a key requirement of the role. You need to be prepared to lift and move stock to build displays. Knowledge of the store systems used by the supermarkets is essential to ensure stock levels are maintained, max shelf / cubing is increased to support additional displays and the ability to be able to check on deliveries and correct book stock errors. This is a temporary role. You need to able to attend a briefing in Feltham on 29 November 2011 (travel expenses will be paid), and then work locally as follows: 3 days in the week 12-16 December 2011 and 3 days in the week 19-23 December 2011.Pay rate is from £68 per day + mileage.
