Job Description: Agile Test Analyst, Agile Test Engineer, Software Tester, Test Analyst, C# Tester, Agile, C#, ISEB, Functional Testing, Performance Testing, Load Testing, East Midlands, Nottingham, Test Analyst (AGILE, C#) - Nottingham TO £35,000 Joining an established team who have embraced Agile/Extreme Programming and Test Driven Development methodologies you will test a range of internal and external systems. We require a candidate with a similar aptitude and mind-set as our developers to implement test strategies with a focus on function, performance and load testing and with a willingness to lead from the front on testing. As the sole dedicated tester your duties will include: Identify general quality and testing requirements. Establish effective testing strategies responding to the requirements identified. Establish effective policies on testing standards and documentation. Undertake testing in an Agile environment by: Participating in the Agile Planning Process. Assisting in defining the test based outputs. Create, develop and maintain test based scripts. Undertake effective and efficient testing. Liaise with Development Team on testing requirements to ensure a tight quality assurance process before changes are released to the Customer. Key Skills and Competencies: Experience of Agile development methodology preferred. Strong understanding of testing and project methodologies. Strong team player able to interact well between all stakeholders Good with detail / Clear analytical skills. Strong customer service ethos with no acceptance of anything other than perfection. Excellent documentation writing skills. A flexible and pragmatic approach to testing at all times in line with Agile development methodologies. Excellent organisational and multi-tasking capability. Highly capable of logical problem solving.
