Job Description: Do you think nothing is impossible when you start writing a programming code? Do you enjoy compiling your software (instead of running pre-compiled binaries)? We are looking for top Java Software Developers to develop world class web-based applications for the next generation of mobile technology! Ideal Java Software Developers will have a strong academic background and a natural aptitude for programming. Youll have contributed to open source technologies, ideally with experience in Apache Tomcat, Spring, Hibernate, MySQL and Linux. As a Java Software Programmer, you are entitled to excellent benefits including a salary to £60k, private medical, dental care, pension and bonus scheme! The company are happy to consider Senior Developers or recent Graduate Software Engineers for this position. Role: Java Software Programmer (ideal of Senior Software Developers or recent Graduate Software Engineers) Location: London Salary: £28-60k Core skills: Java programming, Linux, Hibernate, Spring, MySQL, Apache Tomcat, web services Skills of interest include: -agile development techniques including pair programming, test-driven development, and integration -open source technologies including Apache Tomcat, Hibernate or MySQL -outstanding programming in Java or equivalent high level programming language -strong interest in developing software or researching new technologies in your spare time, you might have experimented with open-source projects, enjoy rebuilding computers or you have your own generator for your computers at home. Recent Graduate Software Engineers should have a strong academic background with fluent Java programming. Primarily software development is in Java with open source technologies; however youll need to be flexible and able to pick up programming languages easily as youll find yourself using Python, C / C++, MySQL, Apache Tomcat, Perl and more. Software Developers will have knowledge of agile development techniques such as pair programming, test-driven development and continuous integration.
