Job Description: My client, a leading retail and institutional fund manager based in London, is seeking a Systems Analyst/ Developer on an initial 6 month contract. As part of the Treasury service provided to the organisation, the business has a cash investment (secured and unsecured), cash management and foreign exchange capability. The cash and FX activity is facilitated by two systems which were designed, developed and implemented in-house. It is these systems which the successful candidate will be asked to support. You, the candidate, must have the following skill set: - Experience of developing complex desktop and intranet applications using tools such as MS Excel VBA macros, Classic ASP, C#, ASP.Net and SQL Server. - Must have strong analysis/investigation skills and be able to find creative sustainable solutions to system issues and user problems. - Experienced in issue/problem management - on both technical and user/process basis.
