Job Description: Our client based in Reading is looking for a Permanent Lab Lead/Mange Lab Operation tasks * Cable and Bagel * Rack and Stack Stock and Store maintenance * IRT Unpacking, Post testing & ITMS * ITMS - Audits * AC/DC power work (supervised) * Must be practically minded * Apply templates of config Lab Administrator Tasks Stock and Store Control * Ordering/RMAs * Audits ISO, Lab walk about, air con etc etc * Documentation/Wiki * Create delete user/user permissions (Good knowledge of NTFS/Microsoft AD/LDAP/AAA) * Deploy cookie cutter procedures (Good knowledge of ghosts, TS/SW templates, Vm's) * Trouble shoot Link connectivity up to Layer 3(networking), must have good grounding in Interface types/speeds, negotiation, vlans, access port, trunk port, ip addressing, static routes/default route. Some Basic UNIX/LINUX skill will be needed (Vi, Network commands, files commands) Manage/Prioritise Works stacks/Requests (Fish Bowl) At least CCNP Lab Engineer Tasks: * Admin/maintain/deploy UCS and VMware in the lab * Admin/maintain/deploy Active Directory in the lab * Admin/maintain/deploy Linux/Unix in the lab * Have basic understanding on Fibre Channel and Sans * Work with NCEs on test bed Boms, Builds, Requirements * Lab Planning/design Rack usage, test bed deployments * Tunnelling, L2TP, GRE, IPsec, Server Client VPN, pseudo wires Oversee Power requirements/implementations of AC/DC equipment Randstad Technologies Ltd is a leading specialist recruitment business for the IT industry.
