Job Description: Microsoft Dynamics CRM DeveloperJob Purpose: The core responsibility for the Microsoft Dynamic CRM Developer will be to provide for development and support within the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 environment, alongside responsibilities supporting any other project related tasks allocated to you under our on-going regulatory, growth or business transformation programmes.Person Spec:The role will require a highly skilled, numerate and flexible self-starter, capable of taking on responsibilities whilst working in a small but highly demanding and productive team environment; working closely with both the projects and business development team to deliver robust solutions.Project work will include helping the business to scope work during the project initiation stage, by facilitating and supporting stakeholders to produce initiation documents, through to producing specifications, test plans and conducting systems test activities. You will be expected to carefully monitor and control user involvement, as well as work closely with developers to maintain successful product deliveries.You will have the following skills and attributes:Microsoft Dynamics CRMC#JscriptASP.NETVisual Studio 2005, 2008Experience of developing Windows ServicesKnowledge and experience using SQL Server 2000-2008T-SQL/SQL developmentReporting & Integration Services (SSRS & SSIS)Use of version control software e.g. MS SourceSafeWorking to specifications and standardsExperiences in a Windows Server environment.Experiences working in a support environmentAbility to work on own initiativeAbility to manage workloads under pressure and in a changing environment.Excellent communication skills and a self starting capabilityA high level of IT Literacy and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)Working within a team or individuallySystem software testing and unit testing.Advantageous knowledge and experience:Experience in the Utilities IndustrySharepointTeam SystemVisual Studio 2010VB.Net & VB6ASPWCFMySQL knowledgeIIS AdministrationImplementation of scheduled tasks for batch processing.Key Responsibilities:To design, code and implement systems applications for existing and new solutions.To produce standardised documentation for system developments in order to support future design considerations in respect of new and existing solutions.To troubleshoot and provide ongoing support for systems issues that may be raised through the Helpdesk.To maintain the quality and accuracy of system components being delivered.To support and provide feedback to project and development teams in respect of ensuring work is being carried out in accordance with work schedules and quality expectations.Providing estimates and feedback to the Project Manager for scheduling and planning purposes.Adhering to policies, guidelines, development lifecycle and other governances applied within the department.To support the project and development teams in any other activities deemed appropriate for supporting the department and its clients.
