Job Description: A Fantastic opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies in a very project heavy role. Essential -In-depth experience in Windows 2003/2008 and Active Directory in the enterprise environment -Configuring and deploying Group Policy -Server OS and Network device patch management -TCPIP (DNS, DHCP) -In-depth Microsoft Exchange 2003 and 2007 support including multi site configuration -In-depth Blackberry Server implementation, maintenance and support -VMWare, ESX -HP / Dell server hardware support essential. -Networking ? HP Procurve, DSL, implementation, routing configuration, support and performance tuning -Netbackup administration -Symantec Endpoint antivirus administration/deployment, server and client -Excellent knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems XP and Windows 7 including build imaging and mass deployment. -Server and Network security including ISA firewall Working Knowledge -SAN ? Left Hand networks ? working knowledge -SQL 2005 and 2008 working knowledge -Microsoft Operation Manager ? setup, configuration, setup monitoring and alerting -Microsoft SharePoint ? Intranet design and support -Working knowledge of JDE, CNC administrator - including promotions and debug. -Performance tuning -Terminal services -Symantec Enterprise Vault -IronPort Web & SMTP monitoring Good to have -Relevant qualification such as MCSE. -ITIL Foundation -Web domain administration -Remote access and Wireless Access security -Mitel telephony switch configuration, administration and support -Windows scripting -Kix Scripting Role responsibilities -Assist in the design, build and maintenance of the Windows server environment, including all system administration and system management. -Tailor system software to ensure the functionality is fully exploited. -Prepare software implementation procedures with fall back contingency plans. -Install and test new versions of system software. -Investigate more complex and potential service problems, recommend solutions and follow formal procedures to plan and test proposed solutions. -Support of Windows Server based applications.
