Job Description:  CONFIDENTIAL Job Specification Project Manager Job ref: AZ/18811 Salary: - £40,000 - £45,000 Location: Northamptonshire Main Purpose: Projects manage from design conception through to manufacture of interior products to the Automotive industry. Having recently gained new long-term business from a range of existing clients, we have an opportunity for an exceptional Project Manager to join the business. Within the scope of Quality, Cost, and Delivery, you will be responsible for the Project Management and delivery of key milestones, for the projects from development through to production launch. Key tasks of the role will include Delivering a cost-effective product within the budget parameters of the project. You will translate the client's specifications into solutions compatible with existing manufacturing process capabilities and technical strategies, and provide robust plans that meet the clients’ specifications in terms of performance, delivery and quality. To fulfil this challenging position, you will need to have extensive Automotive experience within a Plastics environment, ( injection moulding), and have knowledge of Mould Tooling - preferably complex assemblies and injection moulding. You will have a strong character and be in the possession of key attributes including honesty, integrity, and above all be a team player. We are looking for a natural leader that will remain professional and motivated at all times. When dealing with the customer whether internally or externally. Job Content: Control Plans Process FMEA Process Instructions Problem Tracking / solving Procurement of facilities, jigs and fixtures Visual aids Review and maintain MRP (ERP) system. Packaging internal and external Support internal Engineering change process QS9000 / TS16949 / Prince2 / Ford Systems QPAK, Microsoft office, Microsoft Project software APQP, DVP, SMED, SWCT Maintain and strive to improve housekeeping standards through the use of the řs" approach Key Measures: QUALITY Adherence to project procedures and documentation requirements COST Achieve or improve upon budgeted Project cost targets Contain manufacturing facility and tooling costs within budget DELIVERY Project milestones are met on time and within budget PEOPLE Personal Development Plan achievement Training achieved to skill matrix HEALTH & SAFETY Achievement against audits HOUSEKEEPING Audit against standard PROCESS DEVELOPMENT Review current process issues and propose improvements in cost quality and delivery Expected Education/Experience: Engineering discipline degree preferred HNC/HND, apprenticeship + relevant manufacturing engineering experience (minimum 2 years) Proven track record of delivering Projects in an automotive environment Proven ability to communicate with internal and external customers Established in 1975 Listgrove provides comprehensive recruitment and human resource support to companies involved in plastics, packaging, petrochemical, environmental and energy sectors.
