Job Description: Business Consultant/Analyst - Milton Keynes base + occasional travel onto clientsI am currently looking for Business Consultants/Analysts for a major professional services company.Key responsibilities include:- Analysing client needs by understanding how they process business now and what there key drivers are for change.- Design and document business solutions to client satisfaction.- Assist in the production and delivery of business solutions.- Analyse and design finance business processes- Writing functional requirements to meet client needs and approval- Writing use cases to meet functional requirements- Sharing with the client business knowledge and WCG product expertise - Building good working relationships with clients- Resolving client issues and queries concerning the proposed business solution and WCG products- Assisting developers during the development phase of the project- Quality Assurance testing before client release- Investigation and resolution of issues found during the UAT phase of the project- Assist in release planning- Working with Project Manager to ensure timelines and budgets are met- Assist in presales activitiesPotential candidates will have:- Business experience in the Finance sector/industry.- Working experience with CALMS products.- A strong technical background - SQL experience and basic programming knowledge or experience.- Previous experience in software development lifecycles including UAT and systems implementations.- Experience in data migrations.- Strong knowledge of financial calculation models.Potential candidates must have excellent soft and people skills, client interaction is a major part of the role so excellent communication skills are also a must.
