Job Description: Maintenance Improvement EngineerWiltshireDay Based£33,000-£35,000 & Competitive Benefits PackageCommutable from Bath, Bristol, Chippenham, Trowbridge, Salisbury, Swindon, Reading and OxfordAre you an experience maintenance engineer with a strong improvements/predictive maintenance background looking for the next step into your career where you will be responsible for driving predictive maintenance and improving site reliability?Working on this state of the art facility this is a newly created role where you will be responsible for promoting and implementing continuous improvements through proven modern techniques whilst driving site reliability through the site PPM system.You will have a strong maintenance engineering background and will have a detailed understanding of engineering issues and improvement processes. You will ideally be Green Belt certified, however bright engineers with a track record in making site improvements will also be considered and green belt training will be given. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to make a difference, it is a highly autonomous role and with large Operational Excellence and Project based teams there is good career opportunities.The Maintenance Improvement Engineer job:* Monitor the plant and equipment and deliver data to drive predictive maintenance and improve plant reliability through improving the site maintenance activities.* Perform predictive maintenance tasks including thermal imaging, oil analysis and vibration analysis, collating the data accordingly* Promote and implement continuous improvement through proven modern techniques whilst driving reliability through the site PPM system.* Liaise with the Operational Excellence team to complete the required improvement initiatives* Organise and implement the plant improvement projects and reinforce a culture of continuous improvement within manufacturing focusing on deviation reduction and reliability improvements.The Maintenance Improvement Engineer;* Experience of predictive maintenance and continuous improvement techniques* Ideally qualified to HNC level (or equivalent)* Ideally green belt certified although for the right person this can be achieved once starting the jobPeople Source will pay a referral bonus between £200 and £500 if you recommend anyone to this position.
