The Body Electrical Engineer
Our client designs, manufactures and installs all types of production line equipment for the manufacture, painting and assembly of units.
KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILTIES:
Work closely with Electrical design engineers to ensure the smooth assembly and installation of production line equipment.
Work with Mechanical engineers and designers to maintain a high quality of equipment assembly.
Control projects from assembly through to final installation and commissioning.
Organise and control contract manpower utilized during large projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
('E' is Essential/'D' is Desirable):
HND in relevant engineering discipline or completed electrical apprenticeship (D)
Experience in electrical industry. (E)
Experience of installation & commissioning of robotic cells (D)
Paint process knowledge and experience (D)
Experience of safety systems (D)
Experience of generating reports and presentations (D)
Experience in CE Marking of equipment & ATEX (D)
Ability to carry out hands-on activity such as electrical assembly and equipment installation. (E)
Ability to read and understand electrical schematic drawings. (E)
Strong communication skills and team player at all levels. (E)
Demonstrable experience of problem solving & implementation of countermeasures. (E)
Demonstrable experience of proactively driving through changes within current dept. (D)
Flexible approach to work and able to work weekends and shutdowns when required. (E)
We also have other roles in the South East area for experienced engineers.
