Job Description
Our client seeks an experienced Buying Clerk - Essex
Salary range £12,321 to £16,240
Full-time, 40 hours per week, 8.30am to 5.00pm (half-hour lunch break), Monday to Friday
Working within the Procurement Department, responsible to the Procurement Manager
Looking for the following experience:
" Raising and authorising purchase orders with suppliers
" Maintaining agreed stock holding on own product lines
" Placing and maintaining schedule orders, taking lead-times and supplier constraints into consideration
" Working closely with our product management team to source new product lines
" Expediting acknowledgments and maintaining accurate delivery dates on host system
" Liaison via telephone or e-mail with suppliers on any amendment to Purchase Order, pricing or stock profile
" Negotiating terms with suppliers
" Other duties as required
