Job Description
Senior/Principal Geo-Environmental Engineers
Role
- Qualified to BSc(Hons) level within a relevant environmental/engineering discipline, although the possession of a relevant higher degree an advantage
- 4-8 years experience, preferably in Consultancy
- Design, supervision, reporting and management of geo-environmental Phase 1 and Phase 2 site investigations
- Knowledge of human health and groundwater risk assessments to include the CLEA framework and P20 methodologies
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and the preparation of Health and Safety plans for site works.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to negotiation with Environmental Health Officers and the Environment Agency
- Proposal writing and financial control of projects
- Ability and willingness to assist with client liaison and business development
- Geotechnical knowledge and demonstrable experience of the interface of contaminated land with the wider development issues of brownfield sites
