Job Description
Business & Marketing Development Facilitator
This role requires a candidate who is both experienced within the environmental consultancy market and has suitable skills and organisation to progress business development and marketing initiatives. The role seeks a self-motivated candidate prepared to work with a range of large scale clients, currently not on the White Young Green Environmental client list, and warm up opportunities for term commissions, projects or other service agreements. Each task will be led by a director or regional director, depending on the opportunity, who will also become more actively involved in each initiative at the appropriate stage to drive in their ultimate success. The role will be:
1) Answering to the Managing Director but led by director/regional director on initiatives as appropriate.
2) Assisting in the preparation of marketing strategy plan.
3) Providing proactive identification of business opportunities and assisting in developing a strong customer base, focusing particularly on larger scale clients.
4) Assist in the coordination of prequalification and bids.
5) Provide strategic and timely advice on clients, markets and industry sectors.
6) Monitor clients objectives and satisfaction.
7) Undertake market research and collate market intelligence in terms of sectors and skill areas.
8) Help develop promotional materials with marketing team and strategically support all advertising and public relations activities.
9) Assist skill champions in a focused approach to individual discipline streams.
10) Develop marketing information systems and collate incoming key marketing information.
11) Observe, review and report on competitor activity.
12) Based in our London SE20 office (Crystal Palace) but will be involved in regular other office visits sometimes for a few days depending on task.
